"Dial-Around Long-Distance Service Now Offers 1+ Dialing Option"

SEATTLE, Wash. - September 6, 2005 - KallCent$^® customers can now make direct long distance calls from their own telephones by dialing 1+ the number.

KallCent$ now offers 1+ dialing, or Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC) service, which allows customers to choose KallCent$ as their long distance carrier. Before the change, customers only had the option of dialing an access number first in order to use KallCent$. Via its access number dialing option, KallCent$ is the only long distance service that guarantees the same low rates on all toll calls, including those made in-state and between states. The introduction of "PIC’d" service means customers can now pick KallCent$ as their long distance provider and make all their long distance calls directly, by simply dialing 1+ the number they wish to call.

KallCent$ has offered competitive rates with access number (also known as "dial-around") long distance service since 1996. Unlike access number long distance dialing, intrastate rates vary using KallCent$ PIC’d service option.

That means KallCent$ PIC’d service may not be best for everyone making intrastate calls; and that is why the access number dialing option remains firmly in place. Whether KallCent$ customers choose PIC’d service or the access number dialing option, the real value of KallCent$ is discovered in its international rates, which are among the most competitive in the industry. In fact, KallCent$ promotes itself as primarily an international long distance service provider, and boasts rates under 10 cents per-minute to more than 35 countries. Here’s how KallCent$ works: when customers sign up, they choose either the access number dialing option (which allows them to register for the service online), or PIC’d service, which means changing their long distance service provider to KallCent$. If customers choose PIC’d service, they must complete a paper application that authorizes their change of long distance carriers, and fax or mail it in to KallCent$ for processing. Neither option requires customers to inform their local phone carriers of any change. KallCent$ manages the entire process and doesn’t charge a signup or activation fee for either service option. Customers provide their credit or debit card numbers and tolls are conveniently billed to those cards monthly. KallCent$ customers may check their accounts online and view charges. KallCent$ will also mail monthly statements to customers for an additional $2 per-month fee
